These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (hereinafter the "T&C") govern the contractual relationship between:
The "Service" refers to the ConjuGrec web and mobile application accessible at conjugrec.eu and through its versions distributed on application stores (Google Play, App Store).
Creating an account on ConjuGrec implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&C. The User acknowledges having read them prior to registration. Failing acceptance, the User must refrain from using the Service.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify the T&C at any time. Users will be informed via the application at least 15 days before the modifications come into effect, except for modifications imposed by law which take effect immediately.
ConjuGrec is an educational service for practicing modern Greek conjugation, in the form of a Progressive Web App (PWA) accessible from any browser or installable on mobile devices.
The Service offers two levels of access:

The prices shown above are those in force at the date of the latest update of these T&C and may change; the applicable prices are those displayed on the subscription page at the time of order.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify the content and features of the Service at any time, without this being considered a breach of contract, provided that the modifications do not substantially degrade the Service for the User.
Access to the Service requires creating an account using a valid email address and a password. The User undertakes to provide accurate information and to maintain its confidentiality (particularly the password). Any connection made with the User's credentials is deemed to have been made by them.
The User can delete their account at any time from the Profile screen ("Delete my account"). This action is permanent.
The prices of paid offers are displayed in euros including all taxes, French VAT at the 20% rate. The applicable prices are those displayed on the subscription page at the time of order.
Payment is made by credit/debit card through our provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Card data is processed directly by Stripe; the Publisher never has access to it. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
For users installing the application from Google Play or the App Store, payments may transit through the respective store's billing system (Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchases); the tariff and refund conditions of these stores then apply in addition.
The Hellenist offer includes a 7-day free trial starting from subscription. During this period, the User accesses all premium features without being charged. They can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal; no amount will then be charged.
After the 7 days, in the absence of cancellation, the first payment is automatically taken from the registered payment method, and the subscription becomes effective under the terms described in article 5.4.
Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at their end date for an identical duration, unless cancelled by the User before the renewal date. The User can disable automatic renewal at any time from the Stripe customer portal accessible via the Profile screen.
An invoice is made available to the User after each payment, in their Stripe customer area. On request to contact@conjugrec.eu, the Publisher can issue a named invoice.
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer User has a 14-day withdrawal period from the subscription date, without having to justify their reasons or bear any penalty. This period starts from the initial subscription; the 7-day free trial period (article 5.3) neither suspends nor extends this period.
The User can exercise their right of withdrawal by the following means:
Refunds are issued within a maximum of 14 days following receipt of the request, by the same payment method as used at subscription.
In accordance with article L215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code (applicable since June 1, 2023), the User can cancel their subscription at any time, free of charge and without reason, via an online cancellation function directly accessible from the Profile screen of the application, labelled "Cancel your contract". This function allows to:
The User can also cancel directly from the Stripe customer portal, accessible via the application. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period; no pro-rata refund is due for the partial period, except as provided in article 6.
The Publisher can terminate a User's account in case of serious breach of these T&C (notably: payment fraud, abusive use of the Service, circumvention of technical limitations, infringement of third-party rights), after formal notice that has remained ineffective for 8 days unless urgent or particularly serious.
In accordance with articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Publisher guarantees the conformity of the Service with the description provided and applicable standards, throughout the duration of the contract. In case of non-conformity, the User can request the free bringing into conformity of the Service or, if impossible, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
The Publisher implements reasonable means to ensure the availability of the Service 24/7. However, the Publisher cannot be held responsible for interruptions or slowdowns resulting from:
The Publisher undertakes to inform paying Users in case of prolonged interruption (> 48 consecutive hours) and to compensate, where applicable, by an equivalent extension of the subscription duration.
All elements of the Service are protected by copyright, trademark law, database rights and software protection law, and remain the exclusive property of the Publisher. Notably concerned are:
The subscription grants the User a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of their subscription. This right does not include the ability to reproduce, represent, modify, adapt, translate, distribute or publicly broadcast all or part of the Service or its content.
The extraction or reuse of a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the database is prohibited (article L342-1 of the IP Code). Any unauthorized use engages the civil and criminal liability of the offender (articles L335-2 et seq. of the IP Code: up to 3 years' imprisonment and β¬300,000 fine).
The Service is provided for educational purposes. The Publisher does not guarantee that use of the Service will allow the User to reach a specific language proficiency level. The conjugations and sentences provided are carefully validated but cannot replace formal teaching or reference works.
The Publisher's liability cannot under any circumstances be engaged for indirect damages (loss of data, loss of profit, loss of opportunity). In any case, the Publisher's liability is limited to the amount of sums paid by the User over the last 12 months.
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these T&C.
In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer User can have free recourse to a consumer mediator in case of a dispute not resolved after a prior written complaint addressed to the Publisher.
The Publisher has joined the following mediation scheme:
CM2C is accredited by the French Commission for Evaluation and Control of Consumer Mediation (CECMC). The Publisher's membership has been agreed for a three-year period, from May 28, 2026 to May 28, 2029 (irrevocable mandate during this period). The official supporting documents (membership certificate and proof of adhesion with QR code) can be consulted on the page Consumer mediation adhesion.
The User can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Any complaint can be sent by email to contact@conjugrec.eu. A reply will be provided within a maximum of 30 days.
These T&C are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution and mediation, jurisdiction is granted to the French courts of the defendant's domicile or, at the consumer claimant's choice, of the place where they resided at the time of conclusion of the contract.
If any stipulation of these T&C is deemed null or unenforceable, the other stipulations retain their full effect.
The Publisher's failure to invoke any breach by the User does not constitute a waiver of the right to invoke it later.
